Short Weekend

It's Monday, where did the weekend go?! I did spend a lot of time sleeping and I didn't get done half of what I had planned to. One of the pieces that I did finish is a necklance called "Parallel Worlds". Within these parallel worlds, there are different outcomes than the ones we know. For example the earth's sky is green or even orange instead of blue. I wanted the bright blue, green and orange to stand out, so I stuck with more neutral accent beads and a darker brass. I think if I redo the necklance I will use darker accent beads to show space. It's also the first necklance that I have made that is adjustable, Just throwing that out there.

I also have been trying out a new technique from Lesley Watt of Thea Jewellery. Check out the tutorial at her blog! They are so fun to make! The start of the green one is for Samantha Zaroff, the friend from Penn State that makes friendship bracelets. I really like the mushroom cap button, to bad I have to give it away.
